WELCOME BACK

It’s time to check the closet to see whether the tux and evening dresses are back from the cleaners. Or, still need to go to the cleaners, maybe sew a button back on.

For those of you new to the club and unfamiliar with the dress code, wearing a tux is not required right away for the men, but you may wear a suit instead. The women will continue to wear evening “cocktail” attire.

OUR FIRST DANCE

Our first dance is scheduled for Saturday, September 19 at Lake Harriet United Methodist Church, 4901 Chowen Avenue South, Minneapolis. There is no dance lesson this evening, but rather a social hour at the Gifford’s starting at 5:30. The festivities at the church begin at 7:00, with dinner at 7:30, followed by dancing to the music of Kico Rangel. Please register by September 9.

Hopefully, the membership forms have been completed, dues paid and returned to the Sandgren’s by now. If not, we would appreciate receiving them soon.
