March Dance “Go Green”:

A great theme, another yummy dinner by “We Cook” & great music by Rod Cerar kept everyone in good spirits. Guests in attendance (and their sponsors) were:

Ballots for annual elections:

As noted in the March GOTTA DANCE newsletter, in early April you will receive ballots via e-mail  to be used in the election of three couples to the next season’s Executive Committee. You may return completed ballots to Marv & Wanda Sorvala, the current chair-couple, at the April 18^th dance or ensure they are received by them via snail mail no later than May 1^st.

Club “Stimulous”:

As announced at the March dance, the Executive Committee has determined that DUES for the upcoming 2009-2010 season will remain the same as this year.

Dates for 2009-2010:

Sign-up opportunities for dance event committees begins at the April dance and needs to be completed at the May dance. Please note the following dates, bring your calendars & sign up.  Note the change from a January to a February date as polled at the March dance.  We encourage your working on events with those you have not worked with before to encourage more fun socialization & team-building!  Reminder: everyone not on the Executive Committee is expected to serve on a dance committee. Exec.Comm. members pay their “fair share” at seasons’ end based upon the average cost of all dance events.

Executive Committee:

The Executive Committee will be meeting on May 7^th to finalize the election results, finalize the 2009-2010 dance band and dance lesson line-up, fine-tune the May 16 annual meeting agenda & provide responses to any suggestion box comments which have not yet been addressed.
